Travelling and Me

Hello there!

My name is Lenka and today I would like to familiarize you with the purpose of my blog and to introduce you myself a little bit :)

I am a student from Slovakia finishing the last year of Master degree in Spanish university in Alcala de Henares. I love to travel and I believe that one day I will be a teacher, with who the students will love classes of Mathematics and English. 

Last week at our university in Spain, we were supposed to prepare a map of our reading life. The first thing which came to my mind was to include many books about travelling I have seen and I want to buy for my home library. As a high school student I loved to read the books about places I have never been at, and later on I have found out the irreplaceable “magic” moments where authors described places all around the world using the most thrilling ways of writing. This blog is going to be full of books about travelling, mostly to find it interesting for children.

Today I would like to show you one book of Allen Woodman I have seen in one book-shop in Paris. It is very cute picture book for small children about cows which felt little bit tired of the places they lived in France and they decided to go for a holiday to Paris. They loved hoofing about the Louvre or dining at Maxim´s and of course all of the magic things in Paris, but they also found out there is only one place called home. I believe this very special picture book called “The cows are going to Paris” will bring you so much fun!
